HOME.NET: Excite@Home, Inc. [425 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063 US] was formally called the At Home Corporation. It merged with
Excite, Inc. [555 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063 US] in 1999.
The @Home and @Work divisions of the corporation provide high speed internet access to individuals and businesses via cable modems. Probably due to their rapid growth they seem to be attracting more than their fair share of spammers. Several cable television companies and AT&T have large ownership stakes in Excite@Home.
