I am sure you are wondering what is NATSMA what do they stand for why are they involved in limiting the amount of spam seen on the Internet. Well only a short few months ago some of us start talking about the large volume of spam we were receiving from berrytrim that came from the RALSKY group. In fact one member received over 1880 messages in a day. I was receiving them on a regular schedule and seem to be running into road blocks each time I attempted to put a stop to them.

On that day we decided that we needed to form an Association of people from the Internet community to try and track down these abusers of the Internet. A group of people that can work together to investigate spammers by tracking down all information concerning the spammer such as IP address Domain-Name registrations and Name Server registrations. And to compile that information into a cohesive collection of information that can be used to file reports and get results. We are not an organization that will provide black ball lists to ISPs. Rather a Consumer Association to bring to light the players involved in spamming the Internet for every one to see.

We are a young organization and have set some rather large goals for our selfs. We will take each one at a time and achieve them. Our main goal at this point is to get organized and to start work. Currently we have an investigation in progress. Our non-disclosure statement prevents me in giving out any information on this investigation at this time. Once the investigation is complete the full information will be posted for all to view.
